These training grenades are engineered from the ground-up to be a cost effective means to educate, train, or simulate a live grenade without the hazards of traditional training fuze assemblies or ATF controlled items. Specifically, the Mini Firecracker Grenade is designed to reduce both fire and explosive hazards through a protective blast cage while minimizing operating costs with a reload system that consumes a single cap gun cap and single paper-fused firecracker for each deployment. Even when not used in conjuction with a firecracker, the fuze assembly is a good representation of how the prolific UZRG-M functions mechanically. This allows these training grenades to function as classroom models when not used as a simulation device.
The fuzing mechanism is an improvement of the Soviet-era UZRG-M with an added a secondary striker safety catch and optimized the geometry for polymer construction. Threaded components are all right-hand threaded and disassemble quickly for reloading and servicing. Please see the Instructions and FAQ page for safety, usage, and reloading procedures.

Each order is for one (1) complete mini firecracker grenade assembly. Replacement/spare are parts available separately.
This is a consumable part that accepts the cap gun cap and holds the firecracker. These usually last between 50-120 uses depending on the type of caps and firecrackers used. Hotter firecracker fuses and caps will wear the anvil more rapidly. Dry firing will also damage the anvil as it is designed to use the cap to dampen the impact of the striker. Firecrackers are designed to sit slightly loose in the assembly. To improve the hold, gently squeeze the fused end of the firecracker to flatten the paper without damaging the clay plug so it grips the Firecracker Holder better. DO NOT USE TAPE TO INCREASE FRICTION! THIS WILL RESULT IN A ZERO DELAY WHEN ACTIVATED!
